By the Way....

I forgot to mention that in the latest PinkerCorn diavlog mentioned below, Pinkerton suggested--in all seriousness--posting a police officer in front of every mosque in the United States. To do what? To keep an eye on them, Pinkerton replied. A police state for Christendom? Well, kind of.

You can see it for yourself here, at 12:40 or so.

I think I remember a prediction of $100 by Xmas?

Darn close to it.

Maybe the government should give big oil some tax breaks - it costs $$$ to count all those $$$$.

Eternal Wars

Dear Posters:

From time to time you have heard me say how much I love Nazi America. I love Nazi America because she is so predictable. We are easy to predict, especially in our feelings of superiority. We are superior to every human being on this planet. We can do no wrong. We are always right and everyone else is wrong.

A German group says that oil will max out by 2030 and create more wars. Stupid Nazi Americans refuse to seek alternative energy sources. It is too painful and it will take at least thirty years to have these alternative energy sources operational. We will choose to fight eternal wars to maintain our lifestyles at the peril of other nations and people.

More Nazi American sons and daughters will be cannon fodder for Hitler Bush and Hitler Cheney’s eternal wars. The stupidity of Nazi Americans is beyond comprehension. We are the superior race. Being the superior race reminds me of Nazi Germany and what the Nazis said to hype up the people.

Our shit does not stink. Our shit smells like perfume. Nazi Americans, after you take a crap, please fill your nostrils with the smell of your shit. Does it stink or smell like perfume?

Leo Buscaglia, the late professor at the University of Southern California, had said that he does not have any super human beings to discuss because he pictures the people who believe that they are super human beings sitting on a toilet and these people become very human. Mr. Buscaglia failed to realize that Nazi Americans do not sit when they take a crap. To be different Nazi Americans stoop when they take a shit and so they remain the superior race ready to fight in Hitler Bush and Hitler Cheney’s eternal wars.

Sincerely,
Gerald

18. You have to believe that a president who invaded a Middle East country, without a plan for the aftermath and occupation, and used fabricated intelligence, who authorized torture; violated the Geneva Conventions; the Nuremberg laws against unlawful war; spied on Americans without a warrant, in violation of the U.S. Constitution, which he's sworn to uphold, shouldn't be impeached, but a president who lied about a consensual blowjob, should have been.

19. You have to believe that the Government should impose your version of the Christian religion on everyone, including Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Buddhists, Hindus, and Atheists, in violation of the 1st amendment to the Constitution, barring the establishment of a religion, and that all homosexuals and lesbians should be barred from the right to marry their partners, adopt children, and have partners given health insurance benefits at work, and certainly never fight to protect this country by joining the armed services, and if they do, should be dishonorably discharged, even when their heroism has won them medals for valor or outstanding service to their country.

20. You have to believe that accepting huge bribes from lobbyists to vote in favor of corporate sponsored legislation and tax loopholes, and against the best interests of the majority of our citizens, is somehow in the best interest of the people of the United States.

Influence for the Good

How often have you been influenced by a friend? Or made a decision based on someone else’s suggestion?

You are affected by other people, and, in turn, have the power to affect them. Every time you say something that changes another person’s point of view, you become an opinion-maker with the power to use your influence for the common good.

Whether you write a letter to the editor of a newspaper to express your ideas on an important issue of the day, or recommend a book or movie to a friend, you are changing things for the better.

Perhaps you know a candidate for public office who deserves backing, or a local charity or community group that needs support. Don’t be afraid to speak up – in a positive, pleasant way.

God didn’t put you on earth to be concerned only with your own needs. The world needs all the good you can share.

The Holy Spirit will teach you…what you ought to say. (Luke 12:12)

Holy Paraclete, guide me in using my intelligence and judgment in the light of Your will for our good.

Boiling Water for a Neighborhood

Victoria Thornton-Lucas remembers the glory days of her Brooklyn, New York, neighborhood. “Bushwick Avenue was fabulous,” she said. “Tree-lined streets, no crime.”

Then things changed. Poverty, unemploy-ment and drugs moved in. She saw her neighbors eating out of garbage cans and begging for money; elderly people going without food.

So Thornton-Lucas started cooking rice, chicken and vegetables for hungry neighbors. Her efforts eventually formed a soup kitchen which today feeds more than 2,000 people a month. She also began a food pantry, which distributes 250 to 300 bags of canned and dry goods weekly.

“I’m really in love with what I do,” says Thornton-Lucas. “When I help someone, it’s like helping myself.”

In the face of great need, there is usually some way each of us can make a difference. Sometimes, it’s as simple as boiling water.

As you did it to one of the least of these who are members of My family, you did it to Me. (Matthew 25:40)

When I see You in need in the person of my neighbor, Divine Master, may my response be immediate and loving.

Her Decision Made Her a Legend

Nearly 50 years ago a woman made a decision that would change the course of not only her life, but the lives of all who came after her. She said “no” to what was demanded of her by an unjust law.
Her name was Rosa McCauley Parks.

In 1955, laws in the American South required the separation of the blacks and whites on buses; in restaurants and in other public accommodations. Parks’ arrest and imprisonment for refusing to move from a seat in the white section of a bus to stand in the black section initiated a bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama, that lasted more than a year. It was organized by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Parks, who died in October, 2005, at age 92, lived to see her decision help inspire the civil rights movement that changed the nation.

Each of us has a responsibility to stand – or, in some cases, sit – for what is right.

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and…she opens her mouth with wisdom. …A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. …Let her works praise her in the city gates. (Proverbs 31:25, 26, 30-31)

Dear God, give me the courage to change the things I can.

Heart-Filled Service

Physician’s assistant Marc O’Regan, speaking of his service in Pakistan after the devastating October, 2005 earthquake said, “This work feeds my soul.” The Californian was there with Operation Heartbeat, a medical-relief effort.

Just a month before, O’Regan had served in the United States in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Shockingly, O’Regan died of a massive heart attack in February, 2006. He had been contemplating a return to the work that “fed his soul,” in Pakistan.

“Marc was a bright light of humanity, a fearless soul who really dared to live in service of others,” wrote Derek Burnett in a Reader’s Digest profile.

Each of us has been created to be a light in our world. Our task is to discover how to make God’s love known in our unique way. Find your “God-job” today!

Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for…My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:29,30)

How can I be a “fearless soul,” Messiah?

LET US ALL TRY TO FIND OUR GOD-JOB TODAY!!!

Make a Difference Day

When people believe they can make a difference and are given the opportunity, there’s no stopping them. USA Weekend highlighted the ways people around the United States pitched in on Make a Difference Day to help those hurt by recent hurricanes.

Warren, Ohio – Alden Elementary School students, along with families and neighbors collected backpacks, papers, pens and other school supplies for Gulf Coast youngsters.

Detroit, Michigan – Girl scout Troop 6434 and the Saving Our Kids organization collected funds for the Humane Society to help stranded and abandoned pets.

Fremont, California – Chadbourne Elementary School students made thank-you cards to express their appreciation to the Coast Guard for their rescue efforts.

There are many ways you can help those whose lives have been turned upside down by natural and man-made calamities. Make a difference today.

Bear one another’s burdens. (Galatians 6:2)

Inspire us to whole-souled caring for those adversely affected by disasters, Holy Spirit.

"Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.": Thomas Jefferson

=
"Under the influence of politicians, masses of people tend to ascribe the responsibility for wars to those who wield power at any given time. In World War I it was the munitions industrialists; in World War II it was the psychopathic generals who were said to be guilty. This is passing the buck.

The responsibility for wars falls solely upon the shoulders of these same masses of people, for they have all the necessary means to avert war in their own hands. In part by their apathy, in part by their passivity, and in part actively, these same masses of people make possible the catastrophes under which they themselves suffer more than anyone else. To stress this guilt on the part of the masses of people, to hold them solely responsible, means to take them seriously. On the other hand, to commiserate masses of people as victims, means to treat them as small, helpless children. The former is the attitude held by genuine freedom fighters; the latter that attitude held by power-thirsty politicians." : Wilhelm Reich, The Mass Psychology of Fascism

=
"It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificually induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear." : General Douglas MacArthur, Speech, May 15, 1951

Pete, Nancy, George and WWIII

“You don’t have money to fund the war or children. But you’re going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president’s amusement.”
-Pete Stark (D-Ca)

“While Members of Congress are passionate about their views what Congressman Stark said during the debate was inappropriate.”
-Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, (D-Ca)

“But this — we got a leader in Iran who has announced that he wants to destroy Israel. So I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from have (sic) the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”
-George Bush, War Criminal

10/25/07 "ICH" -- -- I cheered inside my head when I heard Rep. Stark unbelievably utter his words condemning the murderous acts of BushCo on the House floor, and I was impressed with his candor, compassion and what I consider an appropriate amount of rage and honesty. How many of us were not thinking the same thing about the S-CHIP votes? I knew, however, that it would not be long until Pete Stark had to apologize. It happened today.

I believe that Speaker Pelosi’s comments about Rep. Stark were utterly inappropriate and out of line. I believe that when she said that impeachment was “off the table,” her remarks were not only inappropriate but also antithetical to our Constitution and directly in opposition to why the people of this country put Democrats back in power.

We may remind the Speaker of some of the things George has said: He told us that Saddam was able to reach the Eastern part of the US with drones that contained either chemical or biological weapons; that the smoking gun might come in the form of a “mushroom cloud” and that Saddam was also seeking significant amounts of “yellow cake uranium.” George and his co-criminals also told us over and over again that 9-11 was the justification for an attack on Iraq because Saddam had something to do with 9-11.

It is imperative that Ms. Pelosi be a true leader and lead the charge to impeach the liars, or at least get the hell out of the way so they can be impeached. I buried my son for no logical, moral or truthful reason for God’s sake, and she has neither the integrity or fortitude to finally say that BushCo has to be stopped before George is the instigator for Armageddon.

Ms. Pelosi is not the only one who condemned Rep. Stark; she joined hands (again) with Republicans to do so. However, for the Republicans to say that Congressman Stark’s comment demeaned “the troops” is so patently ridiculous, it is stunningly pathetic. Our troops and their much higher paid cousins, the mercenary killers, are killing innocent Iraqis. IT IS A WAR! What do these morally bankrupt Chickenhawks think occurs in war? It would be better for everyone if “the troops” went over to play pinochle with the Iraqis, but occupied peoples have an inherent hatred of their occupiers and want them to leave their country: dead or alive. Congress wants to hide behind “the troops” by giving BushCo billions more dollars to wage the occupation so their lobbyist buddies and campaign contributors can become richer off of the flesh and blood of those same troops that they claim to support.

BushCo has over 14 more months to sew their demented seeds of destruction all over the planet. We must all join Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Oh) in his call to remove them from office not only for their past, but for their future, illegal wars of aggression, possibly even doing the unthinkable: using a nuclear weapon. The terrorists that wear Brooks Brothers and Armani and live and work in the big white house on Pennsylvania Avenue are more dangerous to our way of life and safety than any others.

I wish Congressman Stark had not caved to the establishment elitists. George is the one that needs to apologize to each and every one of us for killing just about everything that we hold dear: our treasury, our Constitution, our standing in the international community, our ecology, our children, and for murdering our hopes and dreams for the future.

When I replace Nancy Pelosi as the Representative from California’s 8th district, I will fight for the lives, security and prosperity of not only my constituents, but for all the human beings in the world. If BushCo is still in office, God forbid, when I am sworn in, I will do everything in my power to hold them accountable for their crimes against humanity and I will never, ever apologize for telling the truth.
