Ron Paul's Acutal Newsletters!

Selections From Ron Paul's Newsletters

The New Republic Published: Tuesday, January 08, 2008

The Newsletters:

Since at least 1978, Ron Paul has attached his name to a series of newsletters--Ron Paul's Freedom Report, Ron Paul Political Report, The Ron Paul Survival Report, and The Ron Paul Investment Letter--that frequently made outrageous statements:

Race

"A Special Issue on Racial Terrorism" analyzes the Los Angeles riots of 1992: "Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began. ... What if the checks had never arrived? No doubt the blacks would have fully privatized the welfare state through continued looting. But they were paid off and the violence subsided."

The November 1990 issue of the Political Report had kind words for David Duke.

This newsletter describes Martin Luther King Jr. as "a world-class adulterer" who "seduced underage girls and boys" and "replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration."

The January 1991 edition of the Political Report refers to King as a "world-class philanderer who beat up his paramours" and a "flagrant plagiarist with a phony doctorate."

A February 1991 newsletter attacks "The X-Rated Martin Luther King."

An October 1990 edition of the Political Report ridicules black activists, led by Al Sharpton, for demonstrating at the Statue of Liberty in favor of renaming New York City after Martin Luther King. The newsletter suggests that "Welfaria," "Zooville," "Rapetown," "Dirtburg," and "Lazyopolis" would be better alternatives--and says, "Next time, hold that demonstration at a food stamp bureau or a crack house."

Gays

In the course of defending homophobic comments by Andy Rooney of CBS, a 1990 newsletter notes that a reporter for a gay magazine "certainly had an axe to grind, and that's not easy with a limp wrist."

The June 1990 issue of the Political Report says: "I miss the closet.

Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities."

From the August 1990 issue of the Political Report: "Bring Back the Closet!"

A January 1994 edition of the Survival Report states that "gays in San Francisco do not obey the dictates of good sense," adding: "[T]hese men don't really see a reason to live past their fifties. They are not married, they have no children, and their lives are centered on new sexual partners." Also, "they enjoy the attention and pity that comes with being sick."

Survivalism and Militias

The November 1994 issue of the Survival Report celebrates anti-government militias.

The January 1995 issue of the Survival Report--released just three months before the Oklahoma City bombing--cites an anti-government militia's advice to other militias, including, "Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here."

The October 1992 issue of the Political Report paraphrases an "ex-cop" who offers this strategy for protecting against "urban youth": "If you have to use a gun on a youth, you should leave the scene immediately, disposing of the wiped off gun as soon as possible. Such a gun cannot, of course, be registered to you, but one bought privately (through the classifieds, for example)."

Conspiracies

This 1978 newsletter says the Trilateral Commission is "no longer known only by those who are knowledgeable about international conspiracies, but is routinely mentioned in the daily news."

A 1986 newsletter names Jeane Kirkpatrick and George Will as "two of our enemies" and notes their membership in the Trilateral Commission.

In an undated solicitation letter for The Ron Paul Investment Letter and the Ron Paul Political Report, Paul writes: "I've been told not to talk, but these stooges don't scare me. Threats or no threats, I've laid bare the coming race war in our big cities. The federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS (my training as a physician helps me see through this one.) The Bohemian Grove--perverted, pagan playground of the powerful. Skull & Bones: the demonic fraternity that includes George Bush and leftist Senator John Kerry, Congress's Mr. New Money. The Israeli lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica."

Middle East

A 1989 newsletter compares Salman Rushdie to Ernst Zundel, a Canadian Holocaust-denier.

The March 1987 issue of The Ron Paul Investment Letter calls Israel "an aggressive, national socialist state."

Other Documents: Paul has had a long association with the Ludwig von Mises Institute, a libertarian think tank based in Auburn, Alabama. The think tank was founded by Lew Rockwell, who served as Paul's congressional chief of staff from 1978 to 1982.

This March 1995 letter from Lew Rockwell advertises the Mises Institute's upcoming conference on secession (at which Paul spoke): "We'll explore what causes [secession] and how to promote it."

An advertisement for the Mises Institute's 1995 secession conference--to be held in Charleston, "hotbed of America's two great secessions, against Britain and D.C."

Now what excuse can the Paul supporters come up with?

In my readings I knew Ron Paul had some baggage but I could not remember the details. I would not vote for Ron Paul.

The NY Times hiring of Bill Kristol for a weekly column reveals that The NY times is just another Nazi rag.

Hillary's stunning upset win over Obama returns some sanity to the fad of Obama's mystique. He still is a formidable candidate.

He and Edwards will vie for South Carolina. Obama will win Nevada.

Keep an eye on Michigan (January 15, 2008)! Hillary is on the ballot but Edwards and Obama are not. Uncommitted has a place on the ballot. It will be interesting to see how many people circle uncommitted.

Hitler Bill Kristol and the Dumbing Down of America

Gerald said...

Self-righteous neocon William Kristol being given a weekly column in the New York Times is strong evidence of the dumbing down of America as well as the triumph of ineptitude ~ for Kristol has been and continues to be consistently wrong about Iraq, Iran and the Middle East : Allen L Roland

I have given you another thought on Ron Paul.

For me taxes can be a form of investment in our country. To cling to a person who won't raise taxes or vote for taxes should not be a deciding factor in voting for a person. The reason why some people vote for a person who wants lower taxes is because our politicians spend money like drunk sailors. Taxes must be spent in ways that promote the common good.

Hillary, the Link to Impeachment

Compare Bill with a sex lie, to the murders committed by Bush, not to mention the lies about War, 911, anthrax, and torture, and we can see clearly this story will calm the air about what is impeachable and what is not.

Hillary Beat the Odds

Gerald said...

Hillary Clinton's win is not just a win for her campaign and supporters, but it's a win for democracy and a democratic process, and a defeat for a media that's become over obsessed with horse races and poll numbers.

Gerald said...

One reason for the defeat is Obama's relative inexperience in the political sphere combined with a perception that he might not win against a Republican "when it counts," said 29 year old Kelly Johnston of Manchester, NH to the Rev Rob Times. "I was behind Obama since the whole thing started, but I changed my mind at the last minute because I never thought he was really going to win – I just liked his message a lot – I really do like it, but then I imagined him in the oval office and voted for Hillary instead, because I think she can win and do a good job too."

As has been previously reported, in Iowa Obama made "pacts" with Richardson and Kucinich to siphon supports at the caucuses, and offered the same deal to Biden, which was refused. In addition, is campaign brought in out of state supports and distributed 50,000 fliers to students who are out of state residents to instruct them to caucus for Obama, as Bill Clinton mentioned in a stump speech for his wife.

There are new unconfirmed reports coming out of Iowa that in some precincts in which the precinct captain was an Obama supporter, the number of participants in the caucus was artificially increased so that caucus groups for lower tier candidates, (Biden, Dodd, Kucinich, and Richardson), would be declared non-viable, and supporters would have to disburse, forced to leave or support another candidate, thus making it likely for Obama to pick up additional supporters and increase his lead.

MAYBE OBAMA IS A VIPER!!!!!

Gerald said...

I, personally, believe that Obama started he smear campaign against Hillary. Yet, he wanted to be portrayed as someone who would not smear another candidate.

I DO NOT TRUST OBAMA AND I WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!!!!

Hillary Should Be President

Dear Posters:

I have been objective in my assessment of Hillary. I have tried to share the positive and the negative about her candidacy. I have concluded that she should be president. I have no doubt in this belief.

Some people will ask me why?

I believe that Hillary is not only a good candidate but her life is an open book. Hillary has been praised and vilified across our country and the world. We know Hillary. I also believe that a known is better than an unknown.

Hillary would be good for America and the world. She has been attacked; she has had to overcome lies about her; and she has weather the storm. Hillary is the right person at the right time.

What may keep Hillary from the White House may be that she is too good of a candidate and Nazi Americans prefer to have mass murderers and war criminals in the White House. We are a violent people and that is the American way. She may be too good to serve us as a people as we revel in our evil ways.

Sincerely,
Gerald

Hillary

Dear Posters:

Here is my thought on Hillary. Before I share my thought, I want to say first of all there will be no 2008 presidential elections. It will take a miracle for the United States of Evil to have these elections. We know that only God can bestow upon us a miracle. I, personally, do not know if He will give us this miracle.

Let us say that by some miracle we do have the 2008 presidential elections. I do not know if Hillary Clinton will receive her party’s nomination. I do believe that she is the most qualified of the 2008 Democratic presidential candidates. As far as the Republican presidential candidates she is as qualified or better qualified than all the Republican candidates. She, as president, will not hurt the country. She is in fact more qualified than Hitler Bush and he has been president for almost seven years. Hitler Bush is a murderer and a war criminal. Murderers have to rationalize why they murder. They come to believe that they murder for the common good. Murdering God’s children for the common good is ridiculous.

Sincerely,
Gerald

In any event, this is a provocation, all right – on the part of the Bush administration. As our president travels to Israel, the fulcrum of our policy of Mideast expansionism, there can be little doubt that this is all part of a carefully stage-managed effort to portray Iran as an aggressor – a scenario made doubly ironic when one considers that the U.S. has sent two aircraft carriers into the Gulf and has massed 150,000 troops in neighboring Iraq, where Washington accuses the Iranians of "interference."

We, of course, are allowed to invade countries with impunity: but Iran, which shares a long border with Iraq, and has close political and economic ties with the Iraqis, has no right to secure its own interests in the region. Israel has the right to defend itself: that's the mantra we hear without respite whenever the Israelis take it into their heads to launch yet another "incursion" into the Gaza strip or invade Lebanon – but the Iranians have no such reciprocal right, even a few miles from their own shore.

Nazi America faked Gulf incident

Bush chastises Iran on Gulf intercept By ANNE FLAHERTY, Associated Press Writer
Tue Jan 8, 3:03 PM ET

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Tuesday that Iran's confrontation with the U.S. Navy ships in the Persian Gulf was a "provocative act."

"It is a dangerous situation," he said in a White House news conference. "They should not have done it, pure and simple. . . . I don't know what their thinking was, but I'm telling you what my thinking was. I think it was a provocative act."

The top U.S. Navy commander in the area said an Iranian fleet of high-speed boats charged at and threatened to blow up a three-ship U.S. Navy convoy passing near but outside Iranian waters on Monday, as they headed into the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian fleet "maneuvered aggressively" and then vanished as the American ship commanders were preparing to open fire, said Vice Adm. Kevin Cosgriff. No shots were fired.

In Tehran, Iran's Foreign Ministry suggested the Iranian boats had not recognized the U.S. vessels. Spokesman Mohammed Ali Hosseini played down the incident. "That is something normal that takes place every now and then for each party," he told the state news agency IRNA.

But White House press secretary Dana Perino said the incident was hardly routine. "It was not normal behavior," she said. "It was out of the ordinary. It was reckless."

"It's just another point of reference for people in the region who are concerned about the behavior of Iran," Perino said of the skirmish early Sunday local time. But, she said that while Iran will be "part of the discussion" during Bush's travels, "it's certainly not the main reason for the trip."

Said Bush: "My message today to the Iranians is they shouldn't have done what they did."

Bush also said that a recent intelligence assessment on Iran, which determined that Tehran had halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003, sent a "mixed signal" to the international community on U.S. policy.

"Iran was a threat. Iran is a threat. And Iran will continue to be a threat if they are allowed to learn how to enrich uranium," he said.

The incident came as Bush got ready to leave Tuesday evening on an eight-day Mideast trip designed in part to counter Iran's influence in the region. Bush is expected to discuss the U.S. posture toward Tehran with Arab allies also worried about Tehran's desire for greater regional power.

So Capt:

I am to assume you have less respect for Ron P. than the right? I look at him for what he is today. Yeah know doubt he's a little kooky, but he has taken the far right left. He has put the liberal back in libertarian. And for that the little guy gets my attention. I wouldn't give him my vote, but I would give him a little cash, just to shake things up. He finished 983 votes shy of Giuliani in N.H. That was pretty cool, whatever your party.

"He has put the liberal back in libertarian."

Ron Paul is no libertarian.

He is against liberty because he is against LGBT and is anti-choice.

No true libertarian is a racist or bigot.

Read a little from a true libertarian:

Fuck Ron Paul—The Betrayal

He has betrayed anybody that believed a word from him.

I have known all about Ron for many years.

How can you can read his words from all the pdf's and send him money?

"Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here."
--Captain John Parker, Minuteman, Commanding the Lexington militia at the Battle of Lexington, April 19, 1775--

Yeah, Real problem there...
SO much baggage attached to THAT kind of thinking!

What a WACKO Captain John Parker must have been! (typical Captain)
Who could support a guy who said something like THAT?!?!

And let's have a Liberal Socialist tell us what TRUE Libertarians believe... After all, we want the INSIDE scoop.
And while we're at it, let's just ask the Baptists what it is the Buddhists believe, since we want a fair, unbiased and honest evaluation!
