McCain and the Jew-Counter: A Follow-Up--or Not

It seems no other political reporter has noted--as I reported below--that John McCain has hired as a finance cochairman of his presidential campaign a former Nixon aide who once counted Jews in the Bureau of Labor Statistics for a paranoid President Nixon, who feared Jews at BLS had formed a cabal to undermine his economic policies. This former Nixon aide, Fred Malek, also ran a secret program that tried to rig federal government decisions to assist Nixon's 1972 reelection campaign. The liberal press watchdogs at Media Matters say that no media outlet (besides me) has pointed out that McCain has retained this fellow with a dark history. Well, Media Matters, thanks for noticing.
